Single Vision – this all-purpose lens is available in all materials, and can be used for either distance or near vision correction. Click (here) for pricing information.

No-line progressives – correct for far (driving a vehicle), intermediate (viewing the dashboard), and near (reading a map) vision all in one lens. Because there is no visible line, progressives have the appearance of single-vision lenses and are, therefore, the most cosmetically desirable multifocal. Progressives are available in all lens materials. Click (here) for pricing information.

Lens Options

Scratch-resistance coatings – recommended to protect lenses from everyday wear-and-tear. FREE! Included on all lenses.  When a spectacle lens becomes scratched, it can impair vision through the lens and present an unattractive appearance. Scratch resistant coating may be applied to both surfaces of a lens to help protect against scratches caused by everyday use. This not only increases the durability of the lens, but also protects your investment. "Scratch-resistance" does not equal "scratch-proof". Because of this, it is important to handle your glasses with care and always place them in a proper case when not in use.

1.49 CR39 Plastic – Half the weight and more impact resistant than glass. Plastic lenses are the most commonly used material, offering versatility and comfort for everyday use. Lowest Cost.  Click (here) for pricing information.

Thickness

1.58 Polycarbonate – technologically advanced high-index lenses create a thinner profile for those with strong prescriptions. These lenses are more comfortable as well as cosmetically desirable, about a third thinner and lighter than plastic lenses. Click (here) for pricing information.

1.67 high-index – Hi-Index material is about 45% thinner and 35% lighter than conventional plastic lenses. If your looking for the thinnest and lightest eyeglasses High Index 1.67 is for you. Click (here) for pricing information.

UV protection – the sun’s ultraviolet rays pose potential harm to your eyes. UV protection on lenses accomplishes the same thing as sunscreen lotion on your skin –– it shields your eyes from harmful ultraviolet rays. Exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun can damage your eyes and affect your vision. A UV protective coating can be applied to a lens to protect the wearer from these adverse affects. Click (here) for pricing information.

Tinted lenses – the majority of lenses can be tinted from light to very dark. Tints for sun lenses are usually medium to dark shades. Tints also come in a variety  of color options. We do not do gradient or custom colors. Click (here) for pricing information.

The level 2 (50%) tint is a medium light sunglass tint that is not too dark to make it unusable indoors, while giving some medium/light sunshade protection outdoors.

The Level 1 (10%) tint is a very light cosmetic /fashion tint barely noticeable to the wearer, but giving a slight hint of color to people looking at you..

Since the brightness and tint density displayed can vary on each monitor for the identical image ,even on those hooked up to the same computer, the color examples displayed above may not be an exact match to the tint you will receive. photochromic

Transitions® lensesSometimes called “comfort” lenses, Transitions® lenses lenses darken and lighten according to light exposure. If the wearer is in the sun, Transitions® lenses darken, if indoors, the lenses are light. Transitions® lenses are available in virtually all lens materials and lens designs. Click (here) for pricing information.

Ar Lenses Anti-reflective – we suggest anti-reflective, or AR lenses, to help reduce eye fatigue in all situations, particularly while viewing computer screens and driving at night. In addition to enhancing vision by removing distracting reflections, AR lenses are cosmetically desirable, as the wearer’s eyes are clearly visible behind the lenses. An anti-reflective coating increases the amount of light passing through the lens, while reducing the amount of light reflected by the outer surface of the lens and virtually eliminating glare on the inner surface. This benefits the wearer by increasing visual acuity (especially in low-light conditions, such as driving), enhancing appearance, and removing the distracting reflections of ones' eyes on the inner surface of the lenses. Click (here) for pricing information.

Polarized lenses – are the top pick for polarized lenseseliminating glare. Hunters, boaters and fishermen, golfers, and drivers are a few who benefit from polarized lens’ glare-cutting properties. Any surface can create glare in sunlight, including water, sand, snow, windows, vehicles, and buildings. Polarization eases eye stress and fatigue in the sun, and comes in Gray or Brown  Click (here) for pricing information.
